This poor guy just bought ThermalTake watercooling gear, and all anyone cares about is a case? ThermalTake makes the worst, cheapest, lowest quality watercooling shwag on the planet -- return it ASAP.

A little tact might be in order. He's already purchased the kit, and the 900. Ya, I'm not a fan of TT's WC stuff either, but since he already has it, let's help him make the best out of it.

Ouch that i didnt know. Well i just got my order confirmation and shipping tracking number from TT.....

What is the actual problems with TT that i should be aware of? Is there a certain place i can do some reading on TT problems? I got this special - $100us shipped I know its "get what you paid for" but $ for these water upgrades are killing me, I was hoping this would be somewhat ok.... The rad is going to be secondary, and im not going to use the res off the pump. Ill be placing the alloy res up high in the case, visual so i can see it running and the level, and plug a filler line to the back of it also, next to the return from the last GPU water block.

ThermalTake is infamous for cheap (see: cracking) blocks... so when the shit breaks, and your hardware is ruined, maybe the rest of the HWC community will finally tell you to stay away from those parts. I'd prefer to be more helpful/proactice, and thus, less "tactful".

HWC as a whole needs to grow a set and help these guys out rather worry about hurting people's feelings FFS...

The acrylic plastic can crack if mishandled, or overtightened, or use alcohol to clean them. Just don't do those, and keep in mind this is a starter kit that you will probably want to upgrade.

I figured that considering im no hard core OCer, i should be fine. Ill be very careful when setting everything up, which is what id have to do if i spent a few hundred more on another system. Regardless, i appreciate the information, and ill be sure to check for any cracks and take my time with the build up. Well the PS arrived today, and I think the second Vid is waiting at the post for me :D Happy days! Plus i may have a lead on a EK full cover water block for one of the 8800GTS's G92. Anyone else have one????

Cheers guys :D Its been some amazing eyeopening info since i joined here :D

So the wait continues for parts, I havent started modding the 900 case as yet, nor have I torn down my old setup. But im dying to, let me tell you! Done alot of research about the 900 cases, saved a tonne of pics.

Quick question, currently have the TT cpu block coming in the mail. Now as i mentioned, im not going crazy on OCing this, just want a decent cooling package that isnt noisy and will let my PC last a bit. plus a *slight* OC could be in order... Im wondering if the Apogee GT is a better block? Will i see significantly better results with the GT? Thanks guys. Cant wait to be too busy to post, while i build this thing!
