Really? Domino + Quad = Fail?

I'ved used it before on a few 4cores and never had much an an issue. Granted, they weren't OC'd. I figured Coolit had addressed the quad core overclocking thing with the PURE when they released the Domino :S
Bust. Heard nothing but good things about it too.

Domino + Quad = meh
It's still a low level watercooling system. I don't think it's designed to handle the output of an overclocked quad. More or less aimed at people looking for a quiet cooling solution.

Ditto on the DIY. Come to the dark side, we have cookies and UV.

Honestly if you buy your parts second hand (through a trustworthy person of course), the price of a full WC isn't that bad. The only part I'd buy new is the pump.

I've heard good things about the performance, and doesn't have the PURE bubble/pump failure problem. However I have heard horror stories about the fragility of the barbs on some Dominoes.
bit-tech.net | Review - CoolIT Domino ALC
Knowing Coolit, they probably addressed this.

Stock Q9550, Domino's fine and dandy. Quiet too, even under full load.
Oc'ed Q9550 to 3.0? Forget the Domino.

CORE, as Jackie mentionned I would seriously consider used parts from the Forum members (even the pump ;)) to assemble your first WC loop. With the parts turn-over we have here, you should not have a problem finding all parts for low cost.
