Default Enough Cooling?

Quick question would a Swiftech MCR-320 be enough for a i7-920 and a 4870X2 Loop as follows MCR320->Cpu->4870X2->Res-> pump.I am looking to moving to i7 setup but I just need to figure out the cooling issues.I would be overclocking the CPU but not the 4870X2.

If your allergic to fan noise it won't be. That 4870X2 throws a good deal of heat and so does the i7 when you overclock keeping the HT on. You would need really good fans in push/pull.

That will not do unless you overclock nothing.

That 4870X2 is hot,but a great card.Might have to go back to team green.I find 4870X2 is just too loud at full load.

I've got a 920 and a GTX285 on a MCR320 with 6 low-speed YL's on it, and it's borderline.

I'd rather have two loops or at least have better rad then cheapest model on market. It's like you buying kick a$$ sport car, but putting cheap rubber on it.

Might want to consider the XSPC RX360. I think it should be able to cope with the heat load assuming you run 6 Yates in push/pull.

I have a MCR-220 will probabaly just get either another one or maybe a MCR-320.I have a full size Rocketfish case so space is not really an issue, but I guess I will just have to do a re-design to get it all setup and looking clean again.Just when I think I'm done,Modding just pulls me back in!

Yep, that is more like it. I had single CPU on Feser 360 and it was a breeze, switched to MCR220 for comparison and it's barely handled the same set up. So, two radiators will be what you want.
