Default t-line questions

hey, can a y-fitting be used in the place of a t-fitting?

reason I ask is because I have a couple y-fittings around and a t-fitting would cost like 15 bucks after shipping which is really a lot.

As long as air bubbles can go up the line, letting you bleed the system, it'll work fine. But given the odd angle, that can be tough sometimes. Worst case scenario, you could wind up spending a day or two just waiting for the system to bleed.

I tested it in my sink and it looks like it doesnt matter which end I use, flow remains the same. I'll just wing it with a y-fitting.
