Need help with my dual rad in a single loop

my system consists of q6600, 780i, gtx275, swiftech mcr220 and mcr320. swiftech res, swiftech 655 pump, bitspower 780i nb/sb block, koolance 275 waterblock, swiftech apogee gtz. any help would be greatly apreciated.

Wow went nuts on the Swiftech gear huh? Gabe would be very proud.. What case is all this going in and can we have a pic? Usually a couple things to keep in mind;

1) Shortest tube routing possible.
2) Res before pump.

its going in a cosmos s. ive only done a few watercooling setups. just not as big as this loop. and would use dual pumps just dont feel like spending any more money right now.ive had alot of luck with swiftech gear so far hopefully its stays like that.

Well that one is easy enough. The triple on top, the double on the bottom. Put the pump on a bracket that goes on the fan on the bottom rad. Put the res in between and feed the bottom rad first the into the GPU, NB and then CPU then to the top rad and back to the res which feeds the pumps and does it all again. Nice, clean and simple.

So loop order would be

res-->Pump-->Rad#1 (bottom)-->GPU-->NB/SB-->CPU-->Rad#2(top)-->back to res.

Use this bracket on top of the fan on the bottom rad--> (UN)Designs Pump Z-Bracket (for Laing D4/D5/DDC Pumps) - Red Products Model: UN-ZBRACKET-RD [UN-ZBRACKET-RD] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come

Use this bracket for the pump and hook it to the other bracket for the fan-->(UN)Designs 3G Pump Bracket (for Laing D4/D5 pump) - Deep Red Products Model: UN-PUMPBKT-3G-RD [UN-PUMPBKT-3G-RD] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come

Of course pick the colours you want.

Here is a pic I did to show you where everything will go and how the tube routing can go. The GPU and NB can vary obviously depending on your tubes bends and kinks and stuff. Also the pump works the other way around too... but you get the idea. This was done in about 2 seconds with paint.

Pump connection order seems mismatched? Inlet is in the middle.

I'd do CPU straight from the rad and the rest after that.

Thought I covered that with "Also the pump works the other way around too... but you get the idea. " I did the pic in a hurry.

But why to the CPU after the rad? Don't tell me...Let me guess....Ummmm because you think the water coming out of the rad is colder? I cannot tell you how many times I hear this one. It can be in extreme cases by .5c such as in my build. That is the difference in water temp from after all my blocks to the water after both rads and the res. Here is a shot of my water temps in my BIOS with a 4.06ghz overclock. The OPT1 is the cool one and the OPT2 is the temp sensor after all the hot spots in the loop. Shortest route wins and that has been tested when I challenged Vapor on XS and he won. I thought the pressure directly to the CPU was best (which explains my build tube routing) and he proved that the order does not matter at all because the flow is constant around the loop and he was right. Shortest route winds, no questions here.

In test Vapor used serialized pumps and bunch of fans on single CPU set up. With that much horsepower I can see no difference where those 3 pumps were.

Looking at your rig (looks great btw) you do yourself: cpu-chipset-gpu, not other way around as you pictured above. I may be delusional, but making your CPU block the last compoment of your loop is not what I would call optimal.

Perhaps, switching direction and flip pump and res placement will be better.

alot of useful info and knowledge from you guys. when the build is done i will definitely show the temps and pics. Im sure it won't look like some of these other loops on HC but it will be reasonable.
