I've always used a razor blade to cut the tubing. You'll need a biocide whether its silver or pt nuke if your running distilled.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention about the barbs. Can't find if its a case of metal barbs being easier to overtighten or if its somehow related to tolerances. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed.

And this will all be one loop? TBH, I'm having trouble finding the right kind of barbs, it seems like I can't differentiate one barb from another.

And what do I use to cut the tubing?

I'm also noticing how a bunch of my stuff is Swiftech, why don't they just release a bundle pack like the Orange Box?

Also the barbs need to be 1/2,

Swiftech High Flow Fittings 1/4in BSPP thread to 1/2in ID Barb

why does it say 1/2 and 1/4?
Actually, there are a number of Swiftech kits that can be had at places like NCIX.

I've always used metal barbs in my own MicroRes without any troubles. In fact, I'm using them right now. It's possible to overtighten them, but you honestly have to torque the fitting pretty hard before that happens.

The 1/2 and 1/4 refer to the two ends of the fitting. The threaded part is BSPP 1/4 sized (for our purposes, that's the same as the G1/4 size that you'll see on most parts), while the 1/2 refers to the other end being sized for 1/2" tubing.

Or you can use EK Multi-res with Acetal top and bottom.

Are t over custom? I mean, $400+ US Dollars is pretty expensive for the custom stuff. The kits are like $300USD

Kits are cheapest crap together. I'm talking about something half decent.

Check this (i have some pricing here):

Oh and if I'm mounting the Rad inside, do I still need the radbox?

Newegg.com - Swiftech MCB-120 "Radbox" - Case Fans

Someone recommended me it when the plan was to mount the rad outside.

And regarding this:

Newegg.com - Antec 0761345-75018-9 Blue LED Case Fan - Case Fans

Do I really need it? It's a hotspot for cooling my chipset.

Oh and how do I mount the rad inside? I screw it with what? I want the inside of the front of my Antec 1200 (removing HDD cages). And can I moun it to the ceiling of the case even though it has a HUGE fan there?

And are these the right fittings? (1/2in)?

Z, take a look at this thread. SugarJ's 900 Internal WC Project Page 5 shows how I made the brackets to mount the rad in the drive cage. Should be the same idea for you in the 1200.
