Definitely a strong mounting bracket than 1/4" acrylic. Even if it doesn't break, the flex could be making the block put uneven pressure on the CPU. 1/8" steel sounds good.

Like Dazmode said, if you're going to take everything apart, it might not hurt to switch the CPU and T-line. It may bleed slower, but the main loop will appreciate the straighter flow path. But like you said, you've probably still got more than enough pumping power for your current loop.

your block is an apogee gt right? if yes it come with 2 monting kit, intel and amd, maybee you just dont have it... did you buy it use?

Yeah I bought it used, just came with the the one block. I believe its just an apogee, no gt or nothing.

I think it'd be pretty easy to fab up another mount from aluminum or steel.

Isn't that orange stuff weird? Against black it's green, against natural light it's pink, under fluorescent lighting it's orange and in the bottle it's orange pink. And now I have 1 and 1/4 bottles of the stuff lol, gonna add it to my collection of Feser products:)

At any rate, great to see that you had no major issues with your first build, wouldn't want you getting scared off your first time taking a dip under water. +1 for the comments on the T, should see a large improvement in flow with them switched, so if it's the vario version you can turn that pump down to silent.

Yeah its kinda funny, looks like a burnt orange right now. Would like to get some UV cathodes to see how that looks.

I find the best to use both tube and coolant same color, then it less prone to change in lightning. Perhaps you can add more Orange Feser Dye to darken it?

Nah, next loop is some nice Pro LRT red and distilled water.

Aviduser, when is the teardown scheduled for? I'm getting chills looking at that acrylic cover:)
