We'll I decided it was going to be too much of a hassle to top mount the rad, so I went with phils plan.

I've bought a mcp 655, and apogee water block used. Heres the rest of the supplies im ordering tommorow.

Will be something like this setup, except the rad inlet/outlet will be on the bottom.

Yeah, got a couple noctua p12's.

I was looking at the pump tops you guys recommended. I'm trying to keep the cost down though, so I'll either thread some fitting in. Or just force the 3/8" i.d. tubing on and hose clamp it .

Thanks for the help thus far guys.

Was just going to get extra incase either didn't fit right.

But I switched back to 7/16 tubing, so all my fittings are 1/2" now.

Hope to have the parts by the end of this week (crosses fingers nothing is backordered). Pics will ensue.

Heys guys, my ncix order came in today. Should have paid for express shipping on the pump and block, cause its going to be another week till they arrive.

In the meantime I've ran into a problem with the HDD's location (right under the 5.25 cage). If I run the rad with the inlet/outlet at the bottom, then my pump inlet tube is going to be slanted away from the pump.

Would it be okay to fill the loop outside of the case, with the tubing angled towards the pump inlet. Then place it in its final position with the tubing angled away from the pump?

Parts came earlier than expected!

Shes up and running right now. Unfortunately I didn't do my research on the block, its only an intel mount. So I made one quickly out of some scrap 1/4" acrylic, planning on making another out of 1/8" steel diamondplate.

Other then that things went off without a hitch, no leaks at all. Bled the system in about 2 hrs.

I have about 4' of tubing left, and Im gunna have to re-bleed when I make the new mounting bracket. So if anyone has any comments on what to change post up.

(Also I know 90's near the pump is bad, but this setup is really easy to get rid of all the air. Plus I don't think the mcp655 has any problems with this loop)

What kind of coolant is that?

Perhaps 90 degrees would be better for T-line, not CPU line?
