Well possible answers are:
1) Don't know
2) Don't care
3) Don't matter
4) Just ship me my freaking goodies... NOW!!!
5) All of the above

5 it is :p

I had "express shipping" so it's possible I might have it by next weekend but they will have to process pricematch and EBP so... *phear*

I just read the old posts and if you guys thought I was serious about NCIX shipping on Canada Day = I was just kidding :)

BUT... I did get delivery today - WooHoo!

I had been thinking about the install during the week and I figured the part to start with was going to be the elevated rad - so when I got home I grabbed the rad and went straight to Home Depot to get 2" to 3" high nuts/bolts to match the threads on the rad. But noooo... the rad doesn't have threads it's one of those freaks of nature that "self threads" as you screw in a bolt. Well there is no way to put enough pressure on a 2" bolt and keep it straight enough to self thread one of these :/. So I reefed on one of the small bolts included with the rad to start a thread but even after that it is tough to screw in a 2" bolt and the slightest angle in the thread gets multiplied over the length of the 2" bolt so it winds up being a big difference - grrrr. I'll need to think some more about how to hook this sucker up - I liked the way sswilson did his top mount but I'll need a different soloution for mine I think. There is always the "radbox" option if my modders blood doesn't come up with something :)

On a more positive note all the equipment looks great and well built = should be alot of fun to put together :)

The site I used to post on (it went down) we would always refer to ourselves as "pic whores" as we always wanted pics of everything :)
Will do Misoprostol

After a little thought I think I also have a soloution to my shortlived elevated rad problem :)

How about a short piece of stock with two holes in it?

One hole for the standard screw to hold the stock onto the rad, and the other hole extending off the side (or back) of the rad to hold the bolt/spacer...........

Or a small piece of U-shaped stock with a small hole at the top for the rad screw, and a larger hole on the bottom for the spacer/bolt..... (This would keep the spacers under the rad rather than off to the side or to the back...)

The possibilities are endless....... (starting to think a bit red green here..... :) )

Thanks sswilson :)

My first thought in Home Depot was a "U" shape piece of metal but I decided to think on it some and the little diagram below is a simple soloution that should work great. I was thinking about using 4x120mm fans in push/pull and hooked up to a rheobus anyway :)

Cool!!!!!

I used to wonder about the jars and jars of spare parts / nuts & bolts etc.... that my grandfather used to keep in his basement workshop.

Projects like yours bring the purpose of such things to light!!!! :)
