i got a LEAK!
i went and installed a new dvd drive last night and i found purple fluid allover the bottom of my case. i was stumped to were the fluid was coming from casue all the barbs were tight and the place it was leaking from should be casue it was installed when the computer was built. after draining my system and taking out the bitspower t that was installed i noticed it was cracked from one hole to the other, what i would like to who is how the :censored: could this happen. im just glad it was a slow leak and not a gaping hole. i wonder if i can get sent a replacement. i will post a pic later.

Bitspower T? Acrylic? They're known to crack from over-tightening the barbs.

ya its acrylic. and it wasn't overtightened. i was very care full not to over tighten it, cause i didn't want this to happen. i was using there barbs on it too.

acrylic and dry heat in the case might have caused it to crack but it would be a first for me. just a guess

I would definitely contact Bitspower about getting a replacement. I've read on XS that they have good customer service so I'd expect they would do an RMA without an issue.

Yeah, those acrylic Ts are a PITA and very delicate.

Acrylic anything in a loop can be a pain. I learned from my first loop (TT Bigwater) that I didn't want any acrylic after going through two different acrylic top CPU heatsinks (lost a 1950pro to that).

It doesn't take much to overtorque the threads, and any hairline cracks which form are hard to see and can take months to get bad enough to start leaking.

I had a custom reservoir made for me by CyberDruid and it cracked around the barbs because of overtightening. I wrecked my whole design of my H2GO water setup

Anyway, the only acrylic in my new build will be the XSPC Res tops for my pumps.
