Default What do you guys think about new Feser radiator optimized fans?

Hi everybody,

Feser will be coming with new radiator optimized fans. Check this video:
YouTube - TFC TRIEBWERK PROTOTYPE TESTING - 120 PC RADIATOR/CHASSIS FAN

I personally like the looks and noise numbers (on paper) but they won't be not cheap... twice or 3 times more then regular fans.

Is this something you'd like to see in Canada?

Feser's folks a bit weird seems they never sleep, but they are complete fanatics of their stuff. I think Feser is the most self-motivated company in water cooling business at the moment.

Great design. Small motor hub, and looks like they extended the back of the fan casing to make a bit of a shroud, rather than having to buy shrouds. I bet these will work quite well.

They look crazy fat though. Tack those on one of their rads or their "monsta" rads and you have something that will fit in only a handful of cases

Hopefully they will be decently priced and good performance. If my TJ09 had more space I would consider these puppies.

Yes, this is good way to put it. It is double thick and aerodynamically shaped inside, like jet turbine. Patented design.

These fans were specifically made for the Monsta BTW. And they are made by NoiseBlocker so they shouldn't be too noisy.

Depends on which Noiseblocker line. Some of them are less than optimal in the noise dept. ;)

I'm a little skeptical that those fans will amount to much special, beyond the novelty and looks. The vast majority of static pressure comes from raw rpms, with fan thickness being a secondary factor. I'm sure they'll do decently enough, but I'd be surprised if these could outperform a pair of 25's in push-pull. And kind of a small motor hub, I must say. Silenx fans have a similar approach, and they've been known to burn right out during normal use.
