They look good but that's all that is going for it. I can understand why you would like them considering your business but seriously they are way too expensive, take up way too much room and their performance to price ratio is a complete joke. Sorry but I am sure they had high hopes for excellence but fell short. They made a fan that acted like a screw with air instead of a fan. So in my books...garbage! I would not pay $5 per fan for these. Seriously!

Am I in business promoting garbage? Thanks man.

Yes, pricing is out for lunch, but they work better than my long time favorite Scythe Flexes and the look sexy.

Peace.

Maybe others will like them. The title asked my opinion and well...you got it! Sometimes it is not always what we like to hear. Maybe they will do better with their 140mm one's.

I am sure it would be out there. But you know what, price is only bad if the performance is not up to par. If those 140mm one's blow the other one's out of the water then price would not really matter because your paying for the best. It is the reason why I pay big bucks for San Ace fans. I buy them by the case because they perform better then any other fan on a rad per rpm in the market today. If the 120mm were to have blew away the San Ace's I would have been kicking in your door to get at them and buying them up from you easily. But as I stated and as they were tested they do not. Trust me...I wished they did perform but knew they would not because the design kept changing and we knew that it was going to get screwed up.

Interesting, nobody seems stock San Aces. Hmm... time to write a letter to Sanyo?

Didn't Sanyo discontinue the 1011's? Thsoe were the golden model, if I'm not mistaken.

Actually there are several golden models. Just check out their selection. I know which one's you mean but the replacement model is pretty damn good as well. Heck I have a few variations myself at home and they all seem to perform the same on a given rpm.

SANYO DENKI WEB CATALOGUE

Here is the replacement model...I think they have the wrong picture though with it as it does not have those weird ribs.

SANYO DENKI Web CATALOGE

Now tell me this is not a great fan for the MONSTA in a push/pull config!!! 159CFM at 2600RPM and a hell of alot of pressure.

Thank you for links. Awesome!

I'm not big fan of fast an loud fans, but they are assential for many people who're performance oriented. Also seems they under volt well.
