I still say take MpG's word, and stay with the stock pump. He is one of the most experienced Water Cooling Geeks (:P) around here. And is basically giving you an expert opinion.. The flow rate and power of the MCP655 pump is pretty good on stock, and you really wouldn't see a lot of difference in temps, 1-3C isn't much.

Unless yea you really just wanna waste that cash, go ahead, nobody is stopping you.

Stick to the 655. But as a side note, never again a 655 for me: give me a 350 with an EK / XSPC top anyday (I have 2 of those combos): smaller footprint, decent aftermarket barbs, and still very powerful.

NCIX.com - Buy Ek Water Blocks EK-DDC X-TOP Version 2 Custom Top for DDC or MCP350 or MCP355 Cooling Pump G1/4 - 3830046995018 In Canada.

Installed it 10 minutes ago on the pump, actually...

I prefer Primoflex to Tygon personally. Cheaper and better.
