Default Volume of fluid...

Looking for rough ideas on how much fluid to buy for dual loops. using 2 120.2 rads, I guess I can guestimate everything but anyone know how much fluid goed into a rad? I could always measure it myself, but would be handy if someone out there could give me a decent idea.

Is a 1L bottle more then enough for a single loop? Since I'm building 2 large loops I might get 3L, unless ppl out there think thats overkill. I really like the Feser One fluid, saw some for sale at ncix so that doesnt hurt.

Thanks for any info.

Loop1: cpu-cpu-chipset-chipset-120.2-xspc microrad/pumptop- (possibly plumbing in a leftover Coolit Freezone)
Loop2: gpu-gpu-chipset-miscelaneous large waterblock-120.2-xspc microrad/pumptop-

If you can save money by buying a larger than needed jug then I would go this route since you will have to top up and replace the fluid down the road.

If it helps my 1 largish loop system (3/8" lines) used about 500mL. My loops contains reservoir>pump runs to a 120.1 (both at the bottom of an HAF) then up to a 120.2 at the top of the case, down to the CPU block and finally back to the reservoir (yeah I am not keen about the reservoir at the bottom of the case either - will change it sometime).

My long loop uses about 2L:
Rad - CPU - NB - SB - Mosfet - GPU - Res - Pump with 1/2" ID.

I used a full PC Pure bottle for a 120.2 and a large XSPC pump/res combo.

Somewhat related question, if I buy some extra fluid, that snazzy UV reactive stuff.... Whats the best way to keep leftovers or unused bottles "fresh"?

Dark cool spot?

XSPC Restop, two PA120.3's, one MCR220, two waterblocks, through 1/2" tubing - about 1.5L.

Worst case scenario, 2L will cover almost anything with some leftover, 1 L fills most loops, as long as you don't have a giant reservoir or several miles of tubing.

It's probably for the best if you store the extra fluid out of the light, and where it won't freeze.

IMHO the fluid route is a waste of cash, if want lasting reflective best use tubing

I use distilled water, a 4L jug has lasted about 4-5 fills of my loop (tripple rad, GPU&CPU blocks, Micro RES) so I would say get 2L and you will be good
