I suspect the inside fans aren't doing anything... the only benefit might come if you took the guts out of them in order to turn them into a shroud.

im pretty sure it would be better for it to have a shroud instead of dual push pull - martins liquid lab (iirc)
still looks very cool

Now, if you were to go through the engineering side of things to find an outer fan with high CFM and an inner fan with high static pressure you might be on your way to something..... :)
