I wish I knew where I put the damn receipt from the FEDEX guy though? I remember being pissed off & threw it somewheres on my way in the door heading for my comp to open it up but for the life of me I can't find it! It'll turn up someday though no doubt! haha I never throw anything like that out incase I can go back after them for it lol.

Status Attempted Delivery - Receiver Unavailable Date/Time DECEMBER 9, 2008 AT 12:34

When i'm sitting here & not a knock on the door, ring of the bell or notice saying they were even here!

So I go to the door just to check again & there was a notice hanging on the knob! They didn't ring the bell knock or anything! Idiots! Now I have to make my way all the way there to pick this up cause they don't come back! Friggin Purolator!

^^Haha. Purolator did that to me twice. Fuckers. Once when I was waiting for my watercooling kit, it was summer and I was 5 feet away from the wide open door. I went to the depot at 4:30 and complained. The driver was there at the time and tried to bullshit me that he attempted to deliver it. I almost got him fired for that, now I have no problems.

It's lazy drivers. They quit at about 11:30am and hang out at Tim Hortons until 2:00, go in to the depot and drop off the parcels they said they tried to deliver.

Edit: At least that was my case, you got a note on your door. My guy never came near my house.

The Purolator guy that delivers here is good. He's been working for Purolator now for like 20 years. We are on a first name basis. He use to deliver to my old place. He said if it was an order from NCIX along his route he knew it was mine. That was back when me and the guys from work would order every 2nd week.

.. Wooah you made my day

When I used to work at my old job in the hotel, my manager allowed me to get all my online ordering packages at work, since I worked there for an year, all my ncix packages that came either from fedex or purolator, the guys knew me personally, hek they are kind enough to even wait if I was on a phone call with a guest or helping one, they would tell me to finish first, they would quietly wait. Good friends we were.

You know it just works out this way, if you do get the delivery driver the first time, treat him well, tell him hello, ask how his day is going, they do feel great, appreciate it, second time, you tell him hey good to see you again, how's it going, third time, he will ask you, how are you doing, and fourth time he knows it is your package and he got you on his VIP list..

I know some of those drivers are lazy as Squee said, might be rude, they are few who have loyally worked for a company for many years and always treat you good, after few visits they know you, like Balistx said. Once they start seeing you more and more, they will start being good friends.

Sorry to go way out of whack Barbrr.. fooogiiveee moi :) :p
