Thanks for the offer, however I gave up on chipset cooling since FSB won't be pushed to extreme limits. I will have some AC modded on there.

No worries.

I almost hate to sell these blocks, they're so nice

But they don't fit and I doubt the X58 NB needs cooling.

They are really nice. I was planning on buying one before I gave up on the idea.

There's nothing worse than waiting for WC, since I got all my components ready to go. Except I don't want to do it in the CM690. So I'm waiting until xmas for the project.

I know the feeling!

I still have a way to go until I can get my whole rig together!

Good luck with your build. Watercooling is fun and addictive!

Asus has a halfway consistent track record of using consistent cooler mounting holes for their chipset/mosfets. I'm a little curious as to whether existing blocks might actually fit the X58 boards...

Hopefully X58 will use similar mounting holes.

TerenceJ: It's a dual loop WC. That'll keep you tempted

I spent a lot of time looking at pics of the P6T Deluxe.

I think the mosfets and SB block that I have currently would fit, but I think the NB holes are different.

I'm still not convinced that the X58 NB needs more than a little fan.

Zlojack, seeing as the SB is an ICH10R same as the X38/X48/P45, the SB block should fit no problem.

The X38 and X48 use the ICH9R, only the P45 use the ICH10R, but that shouldn't make much of a difference.

It's just a chip. It still depends on how the MB manufacturer chooses the board layout.

That said, I don't think Asus has changed their SB layout for the P6T and so the block should fit, but I've got no confirmation for that.
