Miggs- You could just make some out of cardboard, or use electrical tape on the metal washers for now. With the 4870 its more a precaution, the major thing seems to be the VRM plate, not to tighten that too much.
EDIT: I also got in touch with Eddy at EK again and he will send the washers out for free for anyone who purchases an EK block.
