Distilled water would be fine, but pick up some petra nuke or a similar biocide to prevent algae. Just make sure to check the distilled water to ensure that it's got as much of the mineral content as possible removed. Some of the distilled waters look like they actually add minerals.... :) And yeah.... why the two rads?

Keep the second one, or add a reservoir.

or use a t-line and dont worry about any reservoir. T-Line air bubble bleeding is really longer than with a reservoir (I would say 5 to 10 times longer) but I really find managing a T-Line is an easier overall process. This is more of a personnal choice, you'll have to experience it for yourself. Dont forget to leak test your stuff before going live :)

Nice list, good move on the tubing from Clearflex to Primochill, a little expensive but it is worth it. I was hoping EK had their blocks for X2 released or in stock, usually better than the DD ones. As for barbs, those Swiftech ones aren't bad, but a better choice NCIX.com - Buy D-TEK Customs 3/8IN G1/4 Chrome High Flow Barb Fittings (Pair) - 3/8-inch-barb-pair In Canada. D-tek ones, just a dollar more, but very good quality.. |

Thanks everybody. I'll probably hold off a week or two to see if any more blocks come out. I'll be sure to take some pics for the watercooled gallery ;)

Yea, oh and Dr. B, according to NCIX if you order those EK 4870x2 blocks, they take 2-4 business days, now how true is that I have no idea, they are about $170.00. NCIX.com - Buy Ek Water Blocks EK-FC 4870 X2 - CF Nickel Full Cover Radeon HD 4870 X2 GPU Block G1/4 - 3830046993571 In Canada. |
