No - considering the heat generated, the cooling is great for stock- I just wish you didn't have to pay for it, if you were planning on using aftermarket.

I remember reading a thread on EVGAs forum where someone bought a video card and claimed the heatsink was missing. He also claimed he didn't know there was supposed to be one when he installed it.
