When you have 5 minutes free please make a stop here and speak with author. Usually he's very friendly and willing to improve/fix his program.
I'm very happy with Driver Sweeper/nVidia/Vista64 SP1.

BTW, awesome review, and thanks again for it.

Great article Skymtl, extremely thorough and well thought out. I'm really glad I picked up that X48 board now. Anyone looking for a 8800GT?

do you guys got an es of the "super RV770XT"
interesting results, i would have thought 4870 + 4850 would be a lot better than 4850 crossfire.
ATI's gotta fix up the idle power consumption though, i'm thinking of getting a 790GX board, that should help.

Another top quality review SKYMTL.

Those results showing how the fps actually doubled with the crossfire is just amazing. Considering they did that with the two separate cards, I am most eager to see how well they manage to do it with the 4870 x2.

Also as others have said it was a great addition to see the troubleshooting added to the review. Very informative and could prove very useful for people.

I had quite a few headaches with it over the course of the review while trying to properly clean the 8.6 Beta and 8.8 Beta drivers. Driver Cleaner Pro is updated on a regular basis so while you may have to pay for it (not much) I find it does a much better job.

I always thought Driver Cleaner Pro was freeware:
Driver Cleaner Professional download from Guru3D.com

^ is that not the one?

The one on Guru3D is VERY old and does not have the new interface or updated cleaning routines.

Thank you, $10 isn't a big deal either.
