There will be availability on launch date but not much. So, if you want one I would suggest you grab one the second you see it.

Rumor alert: A figure that keeps cropping up is $500-550 but what I don't know whether to believe is the existence of both a 1gb and 2gb card plus a 4850X2.

Hopefully the drivers deliver gains with 4870s in cf also. Ive also read that DDR5 supplies are running a little low.

Our Crossfire review will be posted tonight so if I were you guys who are interested in the HD4870X2, I would pay attention to the HD4870CF numbers. Other than that I can say no more...

Heh...well, don't set expectations too high. There were certain things I had to remove due to NDA purposes.

Lol i don't have the money to get a 4870x2, but i'd gladly take any free ones : D.

Well once the NDA lifts you can always add in those extra bits you wanted to. Besides you always put a lot into these reviews...you make some of the other web reviews look a bit naff at times.
