Default Accelero S1 Rev 2..........

said i would drop a note on the temps. before the change i was getting idle temps of 48 - 51deg C.

now i get an idle of 36-37 deg C and after playing crysis as maxed out as i can ( i let the game choose the settings), i was getting a temp of 48 deg C.

i would say thats another vote for the S1 Rev 2. although i still dont recommend the fan kit. a 120mm fan or perhaps 2 80mm zip tied would do the trick.

cheers

My System Specs

Default

I use mine passive on my 8800 GTS and it works great. Never seen a loaded temp over 47 degrees C.

Passive with a load temp of 47C?? That's pretty impressive. You must have some pretty intense airflow going on inside your case.

Default forgot the card

the vard itself is an asus 8800gt 512mb. not the highest but enough to make the water in crysis look pretty realistic

one little minor thing. the temp now doesnt seem to want to go below 40 deg C. before it was around 37-38 deg C.

time will tell i suppose
