I'm kind of dreading the hot summer months that are just around the corner. All my temps right now are with an ambient room temperature of 18-20C. Wait until it gets 28 - 29C in here! I generally reduce any overclocks or even underclock hardware to avoid meltdowns during heatwaves. It might be time to invest in an air conditioner for the first time in my life.
Or you could move to Quebec for the summer and take up residence inside one of the local Depanners' (sp?) walk in beer fridges......

Personally, im buying two 8800GTS320 mb cards... run them in SLI. Then using eVGA's trade up program Im going to upgrade BOTH to GTX's in about 3 months time or so =D that way i dont have to pay for 8800gtx SLI right away. hehehe, Me so clever

I think the shipping is a cost that should be factored into the deal too though- both ways remember.

True, but i simply cant afford SLI 8800gtx's right now. But after 3 months of saving, i should be just fine! =D (And the prices might go down too to compete with 2900's, hehe)

t only supports standard clock (nVidia spec) cards. So those KOS and superclock versions aren't supported.

Wink

I really don't like 320MB size cards. It's silly, they shoulda just made 512MB, and the 768MB cards. 320MB is too small these days. Frick, look at Supreme Commander

Smile Well...

I'd recommend one 8800GTX over 2 8800gts 320mb cards.

I've seen a system where a guy had 2 8800GTS 640mb cards and my single 8800GTX beat them in 3Dmark06.
