Default The lost video card company Matrox

Lest we forget the true Canadian video card company.
There name might be Matrox.
The AMD beast has gobbled up ATI.
May someday Matrox be dear to our hearts.

Matrox is still around. In recent years they have moved towards enterprise, industrial, and government applications.

Matrox is still around and based in Montreal on the West Island. I drive by their facilities quite frequently.

They have some pretty high end multi monitor cards, and very prominent in the medical field, as well as video capture.

I know they are still around.
You do not not hear about them much, except recently with theTripleHead2Go.
I am still using a Matrox G450 32MB, quiet and passive.
Great card for my purpose, non gamer watching DVD's
It is too bad they went a different direction in the market.
They still should have developed some cards for the ordinary consumer.
