Has anyone shown any real world performance increases with crossfire 4000 series cards? seems like they are having some serious driver issues because everything I have seen looks like enabling crossfire does nothing but reduce performence

Lost Coast seems to be more CPU-bound than GPU these days. I'm not even sure it takes advantage of CrossFire properly. TF2 does, though, as it's running on the Source engine 2008 (from TOB).

Yes, performance increases. My Crysis Fps goes from ~12 to ~23 on Very High by enabling CrossFire. CrossFireX does NOT work properly though, as someone else pointed out to me. So they saved me $200 since I was going to buy a third 4850.
