Default Found this for sale.. ATI 4870

Buy SAPPHIRE VCX HD 4870 512M DDR5 LITE 850MHz/1050MHz/1940MHz core/shader/memory clock speeds, 27.2 GTexel/s (32 TMU x 0.85 GHz) fill-rate

Haven't really seen any official stuff on the 4870 yet but I found it for sale here. Its the only thing i've seen that's stated the real clock speeds so far. Could be a mistake but the price looks about right.

512MB for $329... I wonder if it's worth the $140 premium over the 4850. Waiting for the 1GB results.

They may be trying to do a pre-order and don't have a pic of the product so they used an old pic. Has happened a lot before.

The main difference is DDR3 vs. DDR5 memory which gives the 4870 almost double the memory bandwidth. For GPU speed the 4870 is about 20% faster because of better cooling (usually 2 slot).
