Suddenly I don't feel so bad about the price of my 1080 Ti

For sure, but those issues have been around for a while though.

Newegg.ca prices haven't gone up though, yet anyways.

Just looked at Memory Express and they only have two models of 1080ti's in stock and those there are only like 2 or 3 cards chain wide. It is like that for the 1070ti and 1060 is only a tiny bit better. Prices are up much but there is next to nothing available for stock.

Between that and the huge costs in ram it is terrible time in the industry.

was watching some 1080ti's recently and literally overnight stock started dropping off. Not sure if its just demand or just no supply. I have a 980ti, so I think ill just skip till next generation.

A couple days ago, a guy on Reddit took a photo where he had a couple dozens of AMD GPUs waiting to be installed into a mining farm. I can't find the thread anymore, but that's the reason why.

Just surprised were still seeing the 1080 ti level cards being gobbled up for it. Hopefully, the mining crap slows down in the next generation.
