Is that top plate removable? I prefer how the ACX2.0 looks. This new RGB crazy is silly.

Looks like it was designed by a running shoe company... but to each their own.

That is seriously odd. Any other pages with that issue?

Was this supposed to be under the new Intel CPU review discussion? If so, no all the other pages seem fine.

See and I rather like the new ACX 3.0 cooler. But the one I like is the FTW and is the card I'm getting. You can see it running here:

(taken from tweaktown, they took it at computex)

As for the RGB, I like it, but mainly because I can control it. I already have leds in my case and I like the idea of being able to match it with my card. That said only the FTW and Classifieds have RGBs, the SC and reference only have white leds, not a fan of that.

Meh, I'm not a big fan of the EVGA one this time around plus all that cosmetic brushed aluminum probably brings the cost up, hell I don't even have brushed aluminum on my case.

The EVGA GTX 1080 ACX 3.0 version is supposed to MSRP at $620 ($20 over the base MSRP).

So as you said, the performance difference between four GPCs each with one SM disabled versus three GPCs will be non-existent.
Thanks for the additional info.
