Team Green speaking here. Great move. Seems like GeForce Experience but with more tweaking and hopefully less problems.

Will it make me consider Team Red? Maybe.

Remember:

GFE = Gaming Evolved App

NVIDIA Control Panel = Radeon Software

Thanks for the reminder. I really need to get up to date. I tend to stop following the new stuff after I buy a new rig ... for the sake of my wallet's health.

This announcement lends credence to AMD's work the past few months being a sincere effort to change how they address previous software concerns.

The ability to overclock/downclock on a per application/game basis is very much welcome. Between this and Asus allowing the same for CPUs through AI Suite 3, we're being offered some great options to manage power usage these days.

Perhaps the change in programming language and featureset will motivate a new individual to create a RadeonPro successor as well.

Heyyo,

This is definitely a great move by AMD. Software drivers has been the weakness of the Radeon series even back in the ATi days, so it's great to see they're giving it an overhaul on the program itself.

I still remember the ol' ATi way of hiding it in Microsoft's display properties... that was brutal. Took quite some time to even do anything in there lol. Coffee break while you wait for it to load kind of thing lol.
