Default So Im thinking about upgrading

Right now Im running an evga 8800gt SC but I was thinking of buying the EVGA 9800 gtx for 300$ on sale. Im running an xfx 680i mobo and an e6750. Im just not sure if its worth it or not right now. What do you guys think?

nah it isn't that big of a jump. You wont notice that much of an upgrade. I would wait till the 9900 or 4800 series.

Just wait and see what the near future has in store. I smell performance leaps and price drops!

The rumors and speculation I see around the web are ATI and Nvidia both
seem to be racing to get the their latest chips out before July, that’s not too far away.
That’d be the RV770 and GT200 (9900)
They seem to be talking $499 for the 9900, I haven’t seen any pricing for ATI’s.
Both seem to have 512 bit memory interfaces, should be interesting.

man the 8800GT still is king theres only a few frames upgrading to GTX and specially if you have it overclocked that number becomes closer wait we still have one wicked card. By the start of next year im sure theres gonna be some intense cards!
