Of course they are good. 9600GT is under 8800GT, performance wise. At what resolution do you play, and what CPU do you have?

GeForce 8800GT's in SLI is still an excellent configuration, think of it as a GeForce 9800 GX2 Lite.

The 8800GT offers excellent performance especially in SLI, what monitor do you have and what resolution do you run most games at? If you're still sporting a 19" you probably won't see the performance benefits from SLI as much, usually resolutions in the range of 1600x1200, 1680x1050ws and up are where you should be running.

I still wish I could SLI my rig but unfortunately my sata controllers are in the way of my second video card and for some strange reason my HDDs won't operate out of sata 3 and 4 in raid, I'm stuck until I get a board with a proper layout.

My 8800GT rocks. I love it at 1680x1050. You will love yours in SLI I am sure

The EVGA 8800GTs are only 159 at TD right now and there doesn't seem to be a MIR

Bfg Geforce 8800GT Oc 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I Hdcp Hdtv Out DIRECTX10 Video Card - DirectCanada

OK an even better price at DC- except with a $40MIR- still 139 is freekin amazing- if it weren't for the new cards coming out soon and the expense of two GPU waterblocks, I'd almost go for a pair of them
