Default Help with 3 monitor - eyefinity

3 Dell 2340L monitors, Gigabyte HD7950.
The monitors has vga and hdmi input ports. HD7950 has DVI, HDMI, and 2 mini DP. I guess I'll need dp to hdmi adapter?
Also, please comment if this setup will work. Not going after high FR. Will mainly play BF4, Crysis3, FarCry3.

Thx

I don't know a lot about this but I seem to remember that HDMI wasn't an option for a proper eyefinity setup? you'll need the adapter.

Thanks. That goes with what Harlem is saying. I'll use 2 dvi and a dp to dvi connecter.

There's a chance that you'll need an active miniDP-DVI adapter (rather than just a passive one) in order to get all three displays working.

Thanks. Searched Tiger Direct, and there are users there of an active adapter for 3 monitor display. My plan has changed at the moment, will have to delay until Christmas time.

I would use the dvi and two display ports. Thats what I use on my 280x. I duno if you'll get playable framerates though on 3 monitors on bf4 with that card.

Thanks. Are you using the active DP adapters or just the passive?

Another option is this:

Single DP to MST hub. MSD outputs with passive DP to HDMI adapters. It makes for a really clean setup.

It's pretty expensive though.

An active adapter IS NOT necessary for 1080P / 60Hz.
