Lol @ Nvidia marketing a $3000 card towards gamers. You could have three Titan Blacks for this price.

It's quite genius actually, they produce a killer workstation card and say, hey guys, it can play games too. The enthusiasts will automatically buy it because it's x% faster. An easy way for them to sell more cards. If they labeled it as a Quadro no gamers would buy it, the Titan name is a way for them to sell Workstation aimed cards to gamers.

Yes but many boards cant fit FOUR Titans on it. Two of these beasts would be insane. IE Ultimate Viagra for rich 'uns. :P

If someone walked in and said I'm building the Ultimate gaming machine and ordered 2 of these I'd probably bow at their feet.

BUT... isnt 4 way SLI suported well enough? I seemed to think that even with 2 x 690s in benchmarks they do ok, but in actual games? no. I would guess that Titan Z in SLI would not scale that well....

I would love to see the temps on this..... Imagine this in a MIN ITX build in a Bitfenix Prodigy..

NVIDIA Announces TITAN Z, Dual TITAN GPUs, $3000 Price Tag | Hardware Canucks

$3K. At this point in time, all the console gamers who said "PC's are too expensive" are laughing their collective asses off.

Given the context and manner that the Titan Z was introduced your comment appears to be misinformed.

EDIT: Scratch that, it seems contrary to the actual keynote presentation the marketing info in that link is targeting gamers.
