PowerColor's R9 290X PCS+ may get ridiculed for having such a large heatsink but the laughing stops when its incredible temperatures and performance results are tabulated.

Nice good for power color for putting out a great card.

I've bought a few power color starting with a GF2 GTS PRO and all my cards from them have been great.

This is what Asus should have done with their R9s, to return to the triple slot coolers. This is the first R9 290X I'd buy, but for $550~580.

Sad isn't it. If I was going to buy video cards in the next couple of months I'd probably go with 2 GTX 760's in SLi. Cheaper and faster.

Sky, where is the FLIR image?

Edit: This card is $680.00

We use USD pricing. :)

No FLIR image for the time being. It was just a test the last time, before we fully ramp up our completely new testing process.

Simply, because I don't like including things in the review without context. The thermal testing will be done in a closed case in the future which is perfect for the FLIR camera. :)

We've almost always use USD. Love it or loathe it...its the international standard.

Man this gpu has ~almost~ changed my opinion on this gen of AMD. What a beast of a card!
