My System Specs

Default Tri SLi Evga GTX 680 Classified vs SLi Evga 780Ti SC

Just some quick n nasty numbers guys, sorry no screen shots yet...this weekend I'll get some up
Got the 2 x Evga GTX 780Ti Cards installed, didnt bother with a "clean install" of Driver as I did this prior to my last shut down, installed new Cards, couple of reboots and all seems fine

So:
CPU 3930K @ 4.8 Ghz
SLi 2 x GTX 780 Ti SC (Stock Speeds)
Tri SLi GTX 680 Classified Medium OC

Valley Extreme HD Preset;
Tri SLi 680 = 5050 Pts
SLi 780Ti = 5250 Pts

MK11 (Performance):
Tri SLi 680 = P24,800
SLi 780Ti = P23,550

Fire Strike (Performance):
Tri SLi 680 = 16,200
SLi 780Ti = 17,769

Fan Speed set manually to 70% for all Benchmarks
Max Temp top Card - 73c
Max Temp bottom Card - 67c

Fan Speed 45% Cards Idle:
Top Card - 26c
Bottom Card - 23c

Anyhow, later on I'll see what I can push these Cards to, then CPU to 5Ghz and see what my Max Scores are like compared to Max Tri SLi 680 Scores.

I can say that at 45% idle and even under load at 70% Fan speed these cards are very quiet vs the Tri SLi arrangement.

Nice to be back to 2 Cards.......if I go ahead and WC, wont be until after the New Year

Sweet nice scores. I'll be interested to see what you can get for max scores.

Those are sick scores considering you did not oc them.
Hopefully once you watercool them Ín the new year, you can add a 3rd card down the road and really destroy your benches!

Will those 680's show up in the buy and sell or has someone spoken for them already?

Dwayne.....PM sent.

Anytime you get the 2 top end Cards meeting or in some cases beating 3 of the previous Gen top end Cards it's a good thing!!!
The silence and temps are impressive. Played a little FC3 last night and Frames were about the same as the Tri SLi arrangement, around 80 - 110 FPS, but the hottest the top Card got to was 68c....nice.

This weekend I'll see what the Max OC's are and do some runs with the 3930k @ 5Ghz!!!

SO no regrets yet eh? I mean, it's a pretty hefty investment, but your numbers look good.

Dammit man, now I want to get them even more. But things are tight and the one store that I could get them from (have an account, could just add them to it) can't get them in stock yet.

I would love to hear how much quieter they are than my 580's.

Very nice results. It's well worth the upgrade when you go from 3 cards to 2 cards and have the same or even better performance.

A Forum Member was overat my house today to take one of the 680's off of my hands......I let him have a look at Procyon II...think he was impressed with how quiet they are as he has a 580...well, now he has a 680 Classified
