Lol i swear to god no mater what i do I've yet to get free anything with any hardware I've ever bought.

what i mean is if there is one chance that 1 out of 10000 cards don't have a coupon in the box. that will be the box i get lol.

Has been like this as long as i can remember I've even bought certain things expecting the promo game or what ever it was and ended up that the promo was over a week before i bought it or something silly.

This is why AMD and nvidia for that mater should just add a card with a generated number into every box they make regardless of what it is. that way if a promo comes out a week or two after you buy a card you just enter the number and if its the right series of card for that promo you get it. thus avoiding old stock buyers getting screwed out of coupon's ect.

Is anything less than an R270 even worth purchasing for gaming on?

Yeah it figures AMD would screw early adopters of the R9 series with this promotion. I mean we're not even talking a month later from release.

when are people going to learn not to early adopt though? they always get screwed within the first 2 months of a release typically.

Ah! I get it now. But those that do offer the bundle will sell more of their cards. competition.

The XFX links to the Sapphire website.

What a misfire on AMD's part. They were doing a great job with the never settle bundles on the 7000 series cards, and this seems like a huge step back. You just know that any board partner who includes the game is going to increase the price of the card to compensate.

Buy Nvidia GTX=free games
Buy AMD R9 series=maybe a free game if you do your research

Which option are people more likely to choose?
