ROFL! My friend has a 9800Pro and he keeps telling me how happy he is with it when im showing him my Dual X1950XTXs set-up! I thought it was because before he was the one that had better hardware until i became too addicted to computers and start building more Rigs and stuff. But now that i ear lots of you guys saying that it's a good card...You know...

Well, i still think it's because he jealous

X1950XT , as someone else said it was a really good bang for the bucks when i got it.. I couldn't be more happy, the image quality is better then nVidia.

Been running a 6800GT for about a year and a 7900GT for a month before I got this ATI and I won't ever go back to nVidia.

Does anyone use Ati tool on a crossfire rig? I just started doing a serious OC on mine and realized since I WC my cards the Ati overdrive overclocking utiliy doesn't go high enough:) Never had that problem before lol. Gonna give the latest release of Ati tool a shot this weekend and was wondering anyone has tried it with video cards in crossfire.

Ati Tool or Ati Tray Tools?

Ati Tray Tools seems to be the program of choice although they had some problems with the 1950 series.

I'm using Radeon 9600 SE and its the biggest piece of crap i seen ever. Not that i don't like ATI, i've always went ATI over Nvidia but this card only 64-bit memory which drasitcally lowers the performance. The stock speed is around 340mhz and i oc it a stable 450mhz and only 20 more frams in 3D mark. Is a damn 7500 with direct x 9.1 support. I didn't research much on this card and thought it was nice price for its 9600 chipset. (Only $60)

Yeah, you've really got to do your research when buying anything these days. There are a batch of cards out there riding on the good name of older chipsets which are in all honesty not much better than onboard video.

I'm particularly unimpressed with the use of a GT designation by both camps which means the direct opposite between manufacturers. (GT on an ATI is a lower end card so I lay most of the blame on them).

(BTW.... welcome to the forums!)

If i wasn't constantly switching CPUs and i'd have some more time i'd probably be overclocking my Card in crossfire too. Using ATItool of course.

As for what sswilson said. Well, ATItool is better for ATI's X19s series as there is voltage tweaks that can be made with that program So allow much higher Ocing!
