I have a Sony KDL40EX723 which is amazing at both, but I was basically lucky more than anything, as I found some of this out after the purchase.

The first issue destroys text quality in certain color combinations as well as some detail in gaming, and the second one destroys gaming due to delayed response. To see the visual difference, look up Sky's review of that Samsung 55 inch TV he did last year.

So yes, you can be pleasantly surprised or mega disappointed. Buyer beware.

If you want to talk displays, I'd agree with others pointing you to the other sub-forum.
That makes sense as to why I must have lucked out because I bought the best TV and it made my PC games just really pop and come to life like no other. Text and gaming looked and performed great without any noticeable lag and ghosting. Thanx for pointing me to the correct sub forum.

Well they didn't arrive yesterday so I'm hoping today. LOL, well you can see the hard numbers but thank god I won't hear anymore comments from you as I see you were banned. Glad someone finally shut him up

why do you keep talking about TV's all the time your starting to sound either obsessive or in need of approval i don't get it?

your kind of derailing the topic now.

See post above yours

I don't know if it's permanent, but has been forced to take a vacation from the forum.

To get back on track, I'm hoping to have my two cards arrive from Newegg today to set them up with waterblocks.

I think this will be enough to cool them don't you?

It may look ghetto, but I know how to recycle

i have a external rad too so i cant talk lol.

should be plenty tho just the 4x120mm should do but the extra 2x120 and the 4x120mm should be plenty for a pair of cards and the 3x120 is lots for the cpu. so all in all good enough for everything all around.

I wish it did, kill 2 birds with one stone

I am sad though, my cards did not arrive in time for the weekend. I almost forgot why I don't order from Newegg.ca. Express shipping my butt!

heh yep ncix can be so hit or miss. sometimes i can order on a Thursday morning and have my stuff friday .. sometimes i don't get it till next week wed and sometimes i have to phone and fix the hold up if their progress system gets stuck for what ever reason. my work hates ordering from them even if its cheaper because of this lol ncix has become the last stop for them.

But i still use it because i cant stand paying more and they have been really good to me with RMA's in the past that they could have screwed me on so i'm loyal.
