I have to admit as well that the NVIDIA + G-Sync equation is quite tempting. Plus their Holiday Game Bundle and the $100 SHIELD rebate.

I'm hoping to see a 21:9 120hz, strobing backlit, g-sync monitor come out.

Also, I bet someone hacks g-sync to work with AMD cards. Just like everything else ever released

Sweet, time to get a second GTX 780 SC ACX! Since these suckers don't produce that much heat/noise, a pair in SLI at stock clocks should be more than sufficient at 1440p!

Very predictable :)

Tempted to sell my stock 780's on ebay to cover a pair of new DCII 780's with the free games (I can get what I paid for them on ebay in the UK even with the price-drop)

@Eluder, yes they will ;) but do OC them.

That would be fancy! I want to see Nvidia and ATI support 120Hz and 60Hz at the same time in 2D Surround/Eyefinity. I also want to see Nvidia support mismatched size/resolution displays.

Gsync and the special monitor / nvidia gpu combos are out for me.

I already have a 3d ready xl2420t that i never got around to getting the glasses /transmitter for because they are expensive.

And now having to buy a different probably more expensive gsync monitor just to get some small benefits and trust me this looks pretty meh to me i never see tearing in games when i just frame cap at or double my refresh rate of my monitor seems to completely work for me without any of the input lag. and the benq already has a low input lag so ideally on my 120hz i'm running 120 fps or if possible 240 fps and i never see tearing perhaps my theory is nuts but it seems to work and I've had friends try it and they say it works for them too and those fps the game is smooth as butter already.

So id rather take a technology that doesn't require me to buy a 3rd party hardware at a premium to make it work such as light boost 3d monitors for instance.

but instead something that helps my graphics card wrench more performance from itself that to me sounds like the better option.
