PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmark Charts

Is about 650ti performance by that table so I'm guessing no.. or at least it will be comparable but at reduced heat / noise..

650Ti Boost if you can find it for that price. I have one and it beat my 5870 by quite a margin. It was the difference between playing BF3 on High with the 5870, and on Ultra with the 650Ti boost.

Edit:
Here's one:
Asus GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB Video Card (GTX650TIB-DC2OC-2GD5 BOOST) - PCPartPicker Canada

and another one:

EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB Video Card (02G-P4-3657-KR BOOST) - PCPartPicker Canada

The 650ti boost is quite a bit more powerful than the 650ti (at least according to those charts) and at $250 should give about a 30% boost in power while being cooler etc. (again according to those charts)

You mean $150... Plus, I don't put too much stock in those passmark charts. It rated a 6990 as less powerful than a 6970, so, you know...

I have the ASUS card, and it is one damn nice card.

You know what would be even nicer though? A used 7950. They're starting to pop up for around $150 or so. Same with the GTX670's. Either one of those would be even better, and much more worth the money spent.

Hmm, found a 7850 for about $10 more...

Is Nvidia still better at folding?

Yes, although AMD cards have made strides.
