Confused at the 1/8th DP rate - Hawaii was supposed to have 1/2! Maybe there will be a Hawaii Ultra some day. Looks like the DPM states are working pretty well. With an aftermarket cooler, that thing should scream.
I was confused too simply because AMD left a TON of info out of their documentation. But, I confirmed with them that DP rate is indeed 1/8th.

Still $599 @ Newegg and now all sold out. No sign of $549 though I'm wondering if that's just US MSRP.

SKYMTL it would be cool to have games like rome2 or coh2 on your gpu reviews.

btw do you have any ideas on how to improve the cards cooling without water?

I'm guessing I should wait some weeks to get one of them bad boys with a non-reference cooler?

I would love to see how these things do under water. Putting CPUs under water don't make as much of a difference these days as before, but GPUs still benefit massively from watercooling. Especially in multi-card setups.

I've been on a pair of NVIDIA cards in SLI for the past 3 years, so I'm unfamiliar with AMD's driver support. How has it been? NVIDIA's SLI support has been quite disappointing over the last year.

Wow! Amazing performance for the price and it trounces everything Nvidia has. Imagine the performance when coupled with AIB coolers and water blocks. It makes me want to sell my GTX 780 HC for a good loss just to get this card.

No, neither will be added to the benchmarking suite since Rome still has FAR too many technical issues and COH2 is CPU bottlenecked and doesn't support dual GPU setups.
