Should be fun!
Did you get to see the habs game with Dimitry last night Sky? Looked like it was a tight one.

Nvidia Announces GTX 780ti.

Looks to me like its either a cut down Titian or a Titian rebrand, and a lower cost.
Pre-Emptive strike.

GSync Tech - massive Game changing display technology.

Great two days from NVidia.

Launching mid-November. No price or performance discussed but it is supposed to be the fastest graphics card NVIDIA has ever produced. Game on AMD!
That tells me that it is NOT a cut down Titan. More likely a Titan rebrand with higher clock rates. I doubt they'd have new silicon at this stage in the game. Maybe they finally unlocked the voltages, lol!

I'm not really that interested anyway, since it will probably exist at a pricepoint which is waaaay beyond my means.

You know, it used to be that the highest end video cards were within my reach (5870, GTX580, 7970, GTX680, etc) but not anymore.

Here's the thing: GTX 780 could potentially beat Titan with a small clock speed increase.

I'd love to see how it performs, and at what price point.

If nVidia was smart and could hold out, they would wait until the 290X has an official price and what it's performance looks like. I believe they are doing what AMD did with the 290X, which is showing the people what's new to wet their whistle until it's ready to be deployed.

I get the feeling though it's going to be an expensive card and probably priced between the existing 780 pricing and the Titan.

I really don't think they have to be worried about the 290X now....

The G-Sync announcement alone is good enough for the whole event. 60Hz displays are relevant again. It's too bad this tech didn't hit the scene 5 years ago when 120Hz was making an entry.

Ouch....pretty telling, as SKY is probably benching 290x these days...looks like nVIDIA will get my money again. But if Nvidia has nothing to worry = price drops unlikely...and would explain why they offer a "holiday game bundle" instead of a more aggressive approach on prices...
