Still too much. Ima get a vanilla 780 and a waterblock for that price and mod the bios, clock the crap out of it.

To Dzzzope: There are modded bioses for just about every 780 that unlock the voltages and power/heat cielings.

If I was you I would wait for 8xx cards to come. Anything else is a step back from your 690.

Reference cards don't clock worth a damn generally. Watercooling didn't gain me a single MHz for either card.

There are modded bioses out there but they can't increase voltage past 1.21V on reference cards. Voltage has always been the limiting factor w/ Kepler.

In the review the Classified did 1300MHz stable w/ stock air cooling. My watercooled reference cards start to bug out @ 1050MHz yet don't break 43°C.

The DCII got very close to the classified and with much lower temps and acoustics.. this is why I'm so interested in it... Also it's MUCH cheaper.

DCll is probably way better than the EVGA,the cooling design is better imo and it will probably overclock just the same

Right now, we know ATI will be coming out by the end of year with the next gen... I don't know an exact time frame on the 8xx series (and I haven't seen much for rumours, so expect a bit of a wait). Anyways, just want to throw my vote to either go with the 780 or wait and see what AMD announces (or at least see if that causes kepler parts to drop in price). It's not worth the wait for the 8xx series from nvidia unless you don't mind keeping/using your 690 until then.
