Any of those three will crush bird-eye RPGs and RTSs. Having said that, my vote goes to the GTX 670.

My vote goes to the 7950 as I believe it is the best option for value. Some card can be had now at approx 220$ new. Also 3 free games which always nice if you game, or you can sell them to recover some costs.

The 7950 is supposed to be one of the best OC cards. Therefor if you expect to OC you can hope to get great results which stretches value futher.

If your looking for the best value.. look second-hand on any of them.. They are all more than capible..
I still believe AMD cards will have more issues with more games (always had problems with AA causing glitches in some games but it was a couple of yrs ago)

big plus on the AMD cards is they don't have the silly voltage limit Nvidia cards have these days. But then If your not into overclocking it's a mute point anyway.

In terms of raw power these three IMO go 7970>670~=7950.. In terms of experience...
I loved my 670 and would still be using it if I didn't jump on 2560x1440 monitor. Quiet, reliable and plenty of power for the res.

I would say the GTX 670. I regretted selling mine (2 ASUS GTX 670 DCUII that OCd like insane) and going AMD HD7970 CF. Nightmare and now I am happy again with GTX 780. So from experience I'd say go with the 670, heck go for the 760 which is boosted version of 670

Another +1 for the GTX 670. I Love mine. runs pretty much everything at almost max res. Very stable.

I've seen this a few times. It's not true. Why do people keep on saying it? The 760 is actually a cut down version of the 660Ti (less texture units & CUDA cores) with higher clocks and more memory bandwidth. Performance is more akin to the 660Ti than to that of the 670, with the 670 performing slightly better in most benchmarks.

Massive cheers to everyone for the input.
I'll be picking up the 670.

Correct.... kind of. :P

The 760 falls between the 660ti and the 670. What it lacks compared to the 660ti it makes up for with more rops, giving it the edge over the 660ti. My 760 hawk benchmarks lower than my reference 670 benched but according to benchmarks on the web higher than the 660ti.

That being said I don't think you could lose with the 670 or 7970.

Great choice on the 670 though. It absolutely destroys SC2 and D3. Enjoy your new card.
