Worser than that, a bad PSU could damage/kill all your components. And since this is a powering or cooling issue, then unless the fan stop (and it doest not, because if it do, the the temp will shoot much higher), it had to be the power issue.

What card you had in use before this Asus GTX 650 Ti...?

Yeah I would say its driver conflicts, or a bad psu. What was your previous graphics card?

Do you have nv HD Audio Driver installed, it will default install when you install nv Drivers (Custom install is the way to go as you can uncheck it).....these have been known to cause CTD (Crash to Desktop) and/or Blackscreens.
Disable it in Device Manager.......if problem continues definitely replace your PSU

The latest version can be found here. Apparently the developer(s) of Driver Sweeper have gone commercial. For 17 bucks you can download their Treexy "Driver Fusion" which does the same thing. So far, I have found Driver Sweeper to still work so...

The old vs new card would require almost NO power at all. The newer card is drawing a lot more power.

Could very well be the PSU... those coolermasters are not any good at all.

If you can get a friend to pull theirs to test or take to a local store and ask if they can test for you with a different PSU.. Throw them $10 or something for the trouble.

Get a bronze(or higher) rated something... read review, good quality 550 - 650 W will be plenty.. Just read professional reviews on them.

I say bronze cos you have mid level rig and gold or platinum will be very expensive compared to your other bits..
Though if you do go gold rated it should last you a few builds.. Remember to read proper (not customer) reviews.
