Default Gpu fan making weird noise

Hey guyz,i have a new problem, but this only happens when i start my computer, not while playing.
When my comp boots up,one of my GPU fans makes a very loud noise, not the other,i tried stopping em both.

It's almost like if it was a fuel engine noise, but it is no vibration noise,i made sure of that, even though it does sound kinda like a vibration sound. It's basically 3x louder than normal, started 2 weeks ago, does this mean that my fan is getting old and is going to die?it's only 1.7 years old :(

Btw there is no dust in there. Beacause it's not related to fan speed,i don't know what it is,note that this fan is about 50% power when booting the comp, and only 40% power when desktop is loaded, does not make any noise at any speed after windows is loaded tho...

and it's not really easy to record because it happens if the computer havn't been started for hours, and i don't really have a camera at the moment

Basically, when a fan goes crazy like that,it's a bad thing right?

Is it the Gigabyte 570 that is in your system specs? I'm assuming it's a windforce heatsink? Sounds like one of the fans is beginning to fail. I would look to see if the card is under warranty and open up a ticket on the Gigabyte website immediately. They may decide to RMA it for you...

Yeah,it is this card, the problem is that the Warranty is void... I overclocked it around +100 mhz core and overvolted it,even if the card works perfecly with that overclock,i also had to make the fan curve about 10% more agressive and all that stuff does void warranty,I guess I will wait for the card to die........

No, not necessarily. Did you physically mod or sauter something on the board? If not, overclocking and overvolting shouldn't void your warranty. Just don't volunteer the information when submitting your ticket.

Give it a try, it's worth your time. I know I've RMA'd a few video cards that have been overclocked/overvolted. I was even in communication with a GPU rep and told him I was overvolting the card to try and solve a problem I was having...and he still RMA'd the card.

No,didn't mod anything! That's cool,i think i will give a try then. Thanks for the info,i really thought that it would void the warranty.

really?!....OC'ing, Over Volting or changing a fan profile voids a GPU Warranty???? That's one video manufacturer Id stay very far away from ;)

Well i don't know if gigabyte does that,i just saw that overvolting does void warranty somewhere but maybe not so that's cool!

Anyway i woke up this morning with a new idea,UPGRADE! yeah it's 2 years old after all,i wanna upgrade every 2 generations (even if it's also kepler i know) and i cannot run very last games at more than medium with filters,so i decided to buy a 770 :) Yay!
