You said it, Captain
Seriously, I have not had any stuttering issues, on a large variety of games, the card has been very good. I have been trying various beta drivers, currently, the 175.63's are working well, with XP.

Digital_Fortress:
I would recommend the 9800GX2 over the 3870X2. The ATI card is a little less expensive, but 9800GX2's can be found on sale for not much more. Brute flat-out performance wins it over for me.

What resolution? 1366x768 or True HD 1920x1080?

The 9800GX2 puts my 8800GTX to shame.... But it gets HOT. I get over 60FPS in Dungeon Siege 2!! Amazing!

No really, my FPS in COD4 at 1920x1080 max settings went from 70's to 160's..... It is indeed a killer card.

I got my Leadtek 9800GX2 last week and had it running on the weekend.

I played COD4 at 1600 x 1050 and it did'nt raise a sweat. After about an hour of gameplay, temp was only at 50'C. Mind you I have increased the standard fan speed to 55% (from 45%). Still the G92 core is very good when it comes to temperature.

So far I am loving it and I have never bought a card of its power in my life. Plus the overclocking potential on the Gx2 is said to be quite good.

The sad thing about the 9800 GX2 is it can be beat by a 8800 Ultra when playing Crysis with AA and AF. Never should a new card be beat by an old card in any circumstance. A mid end card should beat the last gen high end card. The 9800 GX2 is the king till you more than 512 mb of vram witch is easy in some games like Crysis where you can easily go over 700mb of vram. Hopefully the 9900 series will be what the 9800 series should have been.

Any ways if I had the choice of a 9800 GX2 or a 3870 X2 I would chose the 9800 GX2 because it is faster and on sale isn't that much more.
