NVIDIA GTX 760 Review Comment Thread At just $250, NVIDIA's GTX 760 is meant to compete against the HD 7950 Boost while costing $30 less and replace the GTX 660 Ti. Those are some lofty goals but for the last 700-series GPU being released for the foreseeable future, its price may be perfect for budget-minded gamers. ooohh... Eagerly awaiting where it lines up and any solid info of if they are refreshing the whole line or if this is it.. |
I'm actually pretty exited for this one as well. I want to see the performance gap these new shinny cards. |
She's up! |
Have to say I'm a bit puzzled as to why they are allowing 115% on this and only 106% on the 780... Surely they are going to lose more possible 670 sales than they would possible Titan sales. It's frustrating to say the least... less nannying, hand-holding etc and give us some decent head-room plz. Nvidia are really confusing me at the moment and the "unfinished" driver is slightly worrying too, though at least it really is, as it's beta. Can I ask the technical problem you had with the 660ti? It seems almost as if they were expecting the 8xxx series to launch this summer and then it didn't so they are only doing a slight re-fresh of the line- up to add to the Titan and baby Titan. I just don't really get their game-plan... having 2 series active at the same time for an extended period is just confusing to their customers (the normal guy walking in off the street) |

Any chance of any SLI testing in the future? Specifically with your new FCAT and frametime methodologies. |
This nails exactly my situation... time to put up my last 560ti FS and grab this sooner than later. Quote:
