I would suggest calling D.C.- they might have to measure themselves and call back, But you'll need at least 9 inches of clearance inside the case (my 8800 gts is 9"- not sure about the gtx)- Many of the large producers like HP, Acer, nad Dell use fairly small cases, so if you really want to be sure you should call (unless someone here owns one and can help out)

You only need 1 post before you can post a link so you should be good to go now.

Welcome to the forum.

Yeah, that looks like a fairly decent price considering it comes with the OS.

Keep in mind though that it's an X2 and not an AM2 so it's got DDR1 not DDR2 (no real difference for the performance of the computer, but it does limit your upgrade path).

Does it even have a PCI-E slot? Most PC's like that tend to have onboard only, hence the low price. Research that before you jump.

Good call!!! (Glad somebody is using their noggin).

I tried pulling up info from the Acer site and even they don't have info on it.

I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that it doesn't.

Yeah, 300W.... Is it MATX PSU or is it an ATX PSU? I learned the hard way trying to build a SFF gamer once and could never find a PSU to power it. I would humbly suggest to the OP that he should buy a system he can physically inspect and make sure it can be upgraded at all. Even if you have to pay more, if it is upgradeable it is worth more. Those prebuilts just have a nasty way of reminding us why we should not buy after we buy when we cannot return.

Seems to have the PCI-E slot we were looking for. THe PSU will certainly be the first thing on the "replace me" list.

Yep, I drive the salespersons nuts at futureshop when I go with a friend who's bound and determined to buy a pre-built.

Check under the hood???? Whadda ya mean???? Look at the bios???? You can't do that!!!!!!

Spent an hour there during the post christmas "get this older crap outta the store" sales researching what it would take to rig up a decent looking laptop they didn't have disks and hardware for...... :)
